Overview

The Performance Gadget allows you to monitor the workload and assignment performance of your team directly from your Jira dashboard. This gadget displays visual insights about the number of issues assigned to each team member over a selected time frame, helping you maintain balanced workloads across your team.

Key Features

  • Visual Performance Insights: Displays bar graphs showing the number of issues assigned to each team member, broken down by day and assignment rule.

  • Workload Overview: Gives an at-a-glance view of how work is distributed among team members, helping to prevent workload imbalances.

  • Filter by Teams: Customize the gadget to display performance data for any team of your choice.

  • Date Range and Assignment Rules: View performance data based on the selected time period and specific assignment rules.

Configuration

  1. Adding the Gadget to a Dashboard:

    • Navigate to your Jira Dashboard.

    • Click on the Add Gadget button.

    • In the search bar, type SnapAssign - Performance Gadget and add it to your dashboard.

  2. Configuring the Gadget:

    • Once the gadget is added, click on the edit button to configure it.

    • Team: Select the team whose performance you want to monitor (see image 2).

    • Click Save to apply the configuration.

Notes

  • You can add multiple instances of the Performance Gadget to track and compare different teams.

  • The gadget provides a real-time visual representation of team performance, making it easier to manage workloads and assignment distributions.

  • The data is derived from the same performance insights available in the Team Overview page.
